XRP News: Whales Move 442 million XRP; Court Grants Deadline Motion
XRP News: The US District Court granted the motion by the US SEC, Ripple to set a date for non-parties to request the sealing of any Summary Judgment material. The deadline was set for January 4, 2023. The crypto whale has not stopped accumulating XRP coins.
XRP whales on a Move
WhaleAlert data shows that crypto whales have transferred more than 442,000,000 XRP tokens (approx. $170 million) in multiple transactions within the last 24 hours.
Over the past day, crypto whales purchased 156 million XRP tokens worth approximately $60 million. Most transactions were made through the Binance crypto exchange. The largest transaction was the addition of $18.8million worth of XRP tokens.
However, more than 188.5 millions XRP tokens (approx. $72.8) were transferred from unknown wallets into others.
On Tuesday, the global crypto market experienced a broad recovery. The XRP price has risen by around 3% over the past 24 hours. At press time, XRP trades at $0.385, an average price. Its daily trading volume is $943 million.
Despite facing legal problems from the US SEC, XRP still has a market capital of more than $19.4 billion.
Whales looking for profit?
Data also shows that whales have sent a large amount of XRP tokens into crypto exchanges during the price rise. In the last 24 hours, more than 98 million XRP (approx. $38 million) were sent out to exchanges.
In multiple transactions, more than 68 million XRP tokens were sent to Bitstamp’s crypto exchange. They are approximately worth $26 millions.
