Terra Classic (LUNC), Developers Edward Kim and Zaradar Leave Terra Rebels

Tobias Anderson and Edward Kim, core Terra Classic (LUNC), developers, have left Terra Rebels volunteer development group. Terra Rebels announced that they would reduce the number of inactive members to improve efficiency.
Terra Classic is disappointed by the latest decision, as it leaves out key members like Edward Kim and Zaradar. The LUNC price has started to fall further as a result.

Terra Rebels are Terra Classic Developers
Zaradar and Tobias Anderson, in a tweet on December 19, announced that they were leaving Terra Rebels due to disagreements over recent governance discussions regarding funding.
“I have resigned my position in Terra Rebels because I was unable to align with the most recent governance discussion on funding. I was therefore removed from GitHub and unable to service PRs.
Validator LUNC DAO addressed the decrease in Terra Rebels members, and shared concerns about not retaining key contributors Edward Kim or Zaradar. LUNC DAO believes Terra Rebels do not qualify for $150,000 from the community pool if they are missing key contributors.

Duncan, another developer, claimed that he quit Terra Rebels due to the shift to a corporate structure. Despite the presence of 25-65 members, “internal governance doesn’t have a majority and was passed with 7 yes votes.”
According to ClassyCrypto the Terra Rebels now has 12 members. These include Raider70 and ReXx, Vegas and ClanMudhorn. Terra Rebels will pay the 12 “active” members, while the rest of the “inactive” members will receive a stipend and contract based on their contributions.

The LUNC price continues to fall
Terra Rebels’ decision to displease the Terra Classic community is disappointing. The Terra Classic (LUNC), price has fallen 3% over the last 24 hours, and 17% over the course of a week. The LUNC price currently trades at $0.0001381, which is the lowest level recorded in recent years.
Many believe this could mean the end of LUNC, as it’s not clear if Edward Kim or Zaradar will continue to work on Terra Classic developments. Others criticize Terra Rebels’ decision not to upgrade to v23 and instead focusing on Rebel Station.
