Sui Network Launches Testnet Officially – Sui Testnet Wave One

Sui Network, a layer-1 Blockchain created by former Meta employees (formerly Facebook), begins testing the testnet. The Wave 1 testnet is for validators and all other nodes. It serves as a “training” environment for validators to improve decentralization and problem response and to find the core node operations team with experience. According to the announcement, the blockchain is now a serious competitor to Aptos (another layer-1, also founded by a former Meta employee). Aptos and Sui use the same Move programming languages. To improve the network’s payment system, the development team has launched Mist units. These units are roughly equivalent to a smaller amount of SUI tokens. The Foundation sponsors the project through the Developer Grant Program, up to 100,000 USD, and plans to pay more for it. However, the devnet will still function and be used to test and build decentralized applications (dApps) by developers. We encourage you to do your own research before investing.Join us to keep track of news: coincu.comChubbiCoincu NewsTags: AptosBlockchainlayer 1marketsui blockchainTestnet
