Revealed: Coinbase to List Next Gaming Token

Coinbase recently made a public announcement about the addition of a token to their listing plan for cryptocurrency exchange. This Coinbase news is a result of the exchange’s primary mission which is to connect the world of Web3. Although the exact date of the listing is not yet public, it is expected that it will be in the next few weeks.
Coinbase’s newest addition
The California-headquartered crypto exchange is in the process of expanding its range of tradable assets by adding the NFT-based crypto game “Voxies”. The native cryptocurrency of the project is VOXELS. It’s a polygon-based utility token which allows players to buy weapons, armor, or other in-game items.

Voxies users can play Voxie Tactics, a role-playing game built on blockchain technology. They can also make use of the VOXEL token to increase their chances of winning rewards. The coinbase announcement brought about a significant price rise for the digital asset. It has a circulating supply in excess of 103 million tokens. VOXEL currently trades at $0.385, representing a 23.73% increase over the past 24 hour, compared to a gain 17.38% over seven days.

A few days ago, the centralized exchange announced that it would be adding Liquid Staked Ethereum or LSETH token to its portfolio. This token has a market capital of $5.6 billion. After being added to their listing roadmap, it added ERC-20-based cryptocurrencies Audius and Threshold (T) to its portfolio.
Coinbase Listing Details
Coinbase’s roadmap includes the crypto tokens it plans to support on its platform. These assets cannot be transferred or exchanged until an official listing is made. Coinbase claims that some coins may still be removed from the roadmap list or may not be included for a variety reasons. However, certain altcoins end up being added eventually to the list of supported crypto assets.

Coinbase announced recently that it would proceed with the official listing and trading of the Axelar token (AXL). Trading will begin on February 7, at 9 AM PT, according to the official announcement. AXL will initially be paired with USD to trade, with future integrations possible.
