Phemex Spot Trading 2023: Step-By-Step Guide: How to Use Spot Market and Converter

Spot trading refers to the purchase and sale of financial instruments on-the-spot. This means that the item is delivered or settled immediately. Spot trades are any crypto trade that is completed within our spot markets. This article will help you determine spot trading in the Phemex Exchange from the perspective of an individual trader. To navigate to the Spot Trading Page, you can choose from three types of orders: Limit Orders (Buy), Log in to Phemex.com. Click the Spot Trading button at the top of the header.
Click the Select Market icon in the top-left corner of the page to select your desired symbol or coin.
Select Limit from the Order Module located on the left side.
Set your desired Limit Price.
Select USDT from the drop-down menu under the Limit Price to enter the amount that you wish to spend. Or, choose your Symbol/Coin and enter the amount that you wish to receive.
You can choose from GoodTillCancel or ImmediateOrCancel depending on your needs.
To view a confirmation window, click on Buy
To confirm your order, click the Confirm button
Limit Orders (Sell). Follow the same steps as a buy order but click the Sell button instead.

NOTE: You can enter either the amount you wish to receive in USDT, or the amount you wish to spend on your Symbol/Coin.
Market Orders (Buy).Log in to Phemex.com to click the Spot Trading button at the top of the header. This will take you to the Spot Trading Page.
Click the Select Market icon in the top-left corner of the page to select your desired symbol or coin.
Select Market from the Order Module located on the left side.
Select USDT from the drop-down menu under the Limit Price to choose the amount you wish. Or, select your Symbol/Coin and enter the amount that you wish to receive.
To view a confirmation window, click on Buy
To confirm your order, click the Confirm button
Market Orders (Sell). Follow the same procedure as a buy order but click the Sell button rather than the Buy button.

NOTE: You can enter either the amount you wish to receive in USDT, or the amount you wish to spend on your Symbol/Coin.
Conditional Orders (Buy).Log in to Phemex.com, and click the Spot Trading button at the top of the header to navigate the Spot Trading Page.
Click the Select Market icon in the top-left corner of the page to select your desired symbol or coin.
Select Conditional from the Order Module located on the left side.
If you want to set a limit price or market, check Limit.
If Limit was checked, enter your desired Trigger Price or Limit Price. If you checked Market, set your desired Trigger Price.
If Limit was checked, you have the option of selecting GoodTillCancel or ImmediateOrCancel depending on your needs.
Select USDT from the drop-down menu under the Limit Price to enter the amount that you wish to spend or your Symbol/Coin for the amount that you wish to receive.
To view a confirmation window, click on Buy
To confirm your order, click the Confirm button

The Crypto Converter is a new Phemex service which allows you to convert crypto in spot wallets into USD quickly and efficiently. Instead, it is used to fund the USD Contract Trading Account. This account can be used to fund all USD-Margined Linear Perpetual contracts with up to 20x leverage. Once you are satisfied with your realized gains you can convert the USD into any of the available Cryptos.Crypto converter PageLog in to Phemex.com. Hover your mouse over the Products option at the page’s header.
Click on Convert from the drop-down menu.
From the Crypto Converter page, choose the Crypto currency or currency that you wish to convert, and then enter the amount in the From field.
Select the Crypto or currency that you wish to convert from the second drop-down menu.
Once you have entered your desired amount, the Get Quotation link will be activated. NOTE: If you’re converting to USD or BTC, the default will check whether there is an option to instantly transfer these assets in order to fund one of our Contract Trading accounts. You can uncheck this box if you want to keep these funds in Spot Wallets.
To see the amount you will receive at current conversion rates, click the Get Quote button. The quotation is valid for seven seconds. You must click the Get Quotation button again if the time expires.
Click the Confirm button if you are happy with the amounts.
A pop-up window will let you know if your conversion was successful. If your conversion was successful, you can click the Trade Now button and jump to the relevant Contract Trading page. Or click Done to return the Converter page.
Spot wallets PageLogin to Phemex.com, and hover your mouse over Assets option in the top-right corner.
Click on Spot Wallet from the drop-down menu.
All convertible assets will be listed under the Action column on the Spot Wallets Page. Click on the Convert option for the asset you wish convert. NOTE: You can also click on the Quick Conversion option at the top-right side of the second (wallets), module. This will take you to Crypto Converter Page. Follow the instructions on the Crypto Converter Page if you choose this option.
In the Convert popup window, select the Crypto currency or currency that you wish to convert from the first drop-down menu and then enter the amount in the From field.
Select the Crypto or currency that you wish to convert from the second drop-down menu.
Once you have entered your desired amount, the Get Quotation button is enabled.

Contract Trading Accounts PageLog into Phemex.com by hovering your mouse over the Assets option in the top-right corner.
Click on Contract Account from the drop-down menu.
The Contract Trading Accounts page has two actions: Transfer In and Transfer Out. These actions give you access the convert function. Click on any of these options.
Click the Convert tab at the top of the popup window.
Select the Crypto currency or currency that you wish to convert from the first drop-down menu and then enter the amount in the From field.
Select the Crypto or currency that you wish to convert from the second drop-down menu.
Once you have entered your desired amount, the Get Quotation button is enabled.
