PayPal, a financial giant, responded to a Twitter question asking if it would accept Shiba Inu (SHIB), as payment on its platform. The SHIB Army is a group of passionate supporters of the meme-inspired cryptocurrency. AdRock 0x, an anonymous Twitter user, asked about PayPal’s acceptance for SHIB during a conversation on February 11. The user continued by asking a friend. The company’s help account advised AdRock 0x to ask a friend to contact PayPal via direct messaging to inquire about receiving the cryptocurrency as payment. This helped to accelerate the bull market. The business initially supported four cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin). In June last year, PP announced that users in the US would now be able to move cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin to outside wallets. It was difficult for American users to delete their cryptocurrency holdings from the site before then. PayPal claims that it has received many requests from users since the first time they made it possible to buy and sell cryptocurrency. The financial giant made it possible for Luxembourg residents to buy, sell, and maintain Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin in their PP accounts via the website or mobile app. It is not clear if PayPal will include SHIB on its list of supported cryptocurrency cryptocurrencies.
