National Bank of Kazakhstan releases whitepaper for its CBDC

According to the NBK, the second phase of testing for the central banks digital currency (CBDC), has been completed and a whitepaper released. The regulator released a whitepaper that outlined the results of the trials and research on the demand to the new national fiat, the Tenge. According to a survey, most consumers said they would use the cryptocurrency. The bank claims that studies have proven the feasibility of the digital-tenge project.
