Derivatives Protocol PRISM Launches Validator On Terra

Terra-based derivatives protocol PRISM has launched the PRISM Protocol Validator on Terra. The validator will promote decentralization of network, make whole any slashing and redistribute the MEV. It will also be used to establish proxy governance. These principal tokens can be used to vote for the validator.
Slashing insurance: Many staking derivatives don’t have mechanisms for dealing with the slashing validators. cLUNA already has a mechanism, but it can be enhanced with profits from the validator in order to make-whole any slashing.
Redistribution of MEV: Validators may now be able to make “good MEV” a profit with the advent of protocols like Skip. These benefits should be shared with delegators and holders of cLUNA.
Validating revenue: This can be a sustainable method of contributing to the funding of protocol development. It also avoids the need for external funds by allocating excessive tokens to third parties like VCs.
In addition, the protocol publishes details on how to earn an airdrop in Prism V2, which will include early supporters of the validator.DISCLAIMER: The Information on this website is provided as general market commentary and does not constitute investment advice.
